This will be a monthly contest.

Each month, we will choose a design to be used as a background in our twitter account (think I just said that).

The Prize: Anyway, the prize will be our eternal gratitude as well as some pretty sweet visibility (you get to include your “designed by: ” in the design) as well as a profile post on this site.

As a special bonus to kick off the first month, the winner will also get a free Microsoft Word 2008 (Mac) upgrade. See, I mistakenly bought “Word” instead of “Office” so I can’t use it but opened the box and can’t send it back. Hey, instant prize!

Please note: This is an UPGRADE CD and will only work if you are a licensed user of one of the following products; Microsoft Office 98 (Mac edition), Microsoft Word, any Microsoft Office for Mac 2001-2004 suite or Microsoft Word for Mac2001-2004.

Design Submission:: To submit your design, leave a comment with a link to the design (Flickr, TwitPic, whatever works for you) and month you’re entering for and we’ll give it a good, long gander.

Content: LameTwitterMarketing is all about helping the twitter community be a better place by educating tweeters on what not to do. So design should fall in-line with that. It should also include the URL for this site.

Deadline: 11:00 pm EST Jan. 15, 2009. Winner will be announced Jan. 30.

Drum roll please. And the winner for Dec. 2008 is…. No One.
No one entered the contest so I guess we’ll just have to take our prize and go home… until next month.
